The Taster Wine Group consists of 4 independent units:

Taster Wine A/S - is a nationwide wine distributor that supplies to chain stores, supermarkets, grocers, fine wine shops, duty free and to the export market.

A/S Skjold Burne - Skjold Burne is the longest existing, largest and only nationwide chain of fine wine shops consisting of 63 shops. The concept of Skjold Burne is to have a large assort-ment of wine, that covers the Danish population’s needs of quality wine for everyday use or for party use. Skjold Burne has its own wine and spirits assortment that is sold at competitive prices with professional guidance and service.

Oskar Davidsen & Co. - the company Oskar Davidsen & Co. was founded in 1888 and purchased by Taster Wine A/S in 1960. Today Oskar Davidsen & Co. covers the independent division that has specialized in servicing hotels, restaurants and the catering business.

Taster Wine Vertriebs-GmbH - was founded in 1993 and is a subsidiary of the Taster Wine Group. The company is situated in Harrislee in Northern Germany and supplies primarily the Danish-German border shops.

The group operates from two locations

Today Taster Wine A/S operates nationwide, distributing wines and spirits to all segments of the market, where it is retailed to the consumers. The group operates from two locations; its headquarters strategically situated in Broendby, on the outskirts of Copenhagen, and a German company located just south of the Danish/German border, to facilitate distribution to the border shops and the north German market.
