During the last decade, Taster Wine A/S has taken several steps to meet the increasing demand for overseas wine. The latest step has been a new tank storage with a capacity of 600,000 liters. The two new buildings on the northern side of the bottling room contain 18 steel tanks in total. All in all, we have a tank capacity to store 3 mio. litres of wine. Our highly modern bottling plant consists of 6 bottling units that have the capacity of bottling more than 20,000 liters of wine per hour and we bottle both wine, dessert wine, liqueur and spirits. 3 of the bottling units are used for bottling traditional glass bottles and 3 of the bottling units are used for filling Bag-in-Boxes. Taster Wine A/S has a highly qualified team of cellarmen. In collaboration with our laboratory they perform quality controls of the production, bottling and the imported bottles. bag-in-boxFor the past years sales of overseas wines both in bottle as well as in bulk have increased. Part of this growth in sales is caused by our big success with Bag-in-Boxes. The consumers have indeed accepted the Bag-in-Box concept. The practical cartons are easy to transport, the wine remain unchanged for up to 6 weeks and it is easy to dispose of the empty carton. Furthermore, the environmental considerations are also of great importance as investigations have shown that the CO2 emissions are substantially lower when you import the wine in bulk and bottle the wine locally than when you import the wine in bottles. private labelBesides our extensive regular assortment of wine and spirits, we can offer "Private Labels". These are products designed according to our customers' wishes and needs. No customer is too small for our production of private labels, and Taster Wine provides full support and service, whether the production is for one pallet, or several thousand pallets.
